Swedish Smörgåsbord around christmas

“Swedish is a very dynamic and funny language which make it easy and intresting to learn. Some may say that Swedish is a very difficult language, and that might also be true. However there is also many very easy parts that you will learn in a trice.”

By start out the lessons by focus on the easy parts, it takes shorter time for the student to become fluent.
There is a lot of job opportunities in Sweden, and very often you are not required to speak perfect Swedish in order to get a job.
My goal therefore becomes to get you to this point as fast as possible.
Then you will learn and become better once you are actually working with Swedish people.

Swedish is a mixed language and over the years we have borrowed many words from other languages.
However we are often very proud of the word “Smorgasbord” since that is actually a word that English has borrowed from Swedish!

Smörgås (means sandwish) and Bord (means table) is actually a table full of small dices, just like the spanish tapas or italian antipasti.
Traditionally it’s served with different types of meats, fish, sallads, egg and sauces. Well, everything you can imagine actually.

Christmas is now coming closer and guess what. This “Bord” is actually serves under most of the Swedish celebrations.
Julbord (christmas table) is actually a kind of Smörgåsbord with a christmas theme. As well as in easter (Påskbord) Easter table.

I am sure you will both enjoy this kinds of tables when you will follow your dreams and learn Swedish!

“To learn a new language is a beautiful thing. Suddenly your world is bigger, Your horizonts wider, and your possibilities become endless.”

Travel many hours by plane, to suddenly end up in a new home. Where your knowledge make you feel welcome.

You become part of something else, and recive the mutual respect from the people living there.

I am happy to annunce that my first bird have finally grown the wings to fly away.

My student Maya that has now become a fluent Swedish speaker, and decided to move to Sweden for work.

She now enjoys a big smile, snowy winters and a salary slightly above 74 000czk / month
